6 ways to be Productive

Hello everyone,

So, when I decided to write about this topic, I realized that I'm not a pro at this topic however I am someone who has got some quick ideas on staying productive and I thought of sharing all this with everyone so that it will help you in some way.

So here we go.

1) To-do and Got Done lists.

First of all, you need to make  realistic to-do lists which are gonna be very adjustable in your routine unless you'll end up achieving nothing and it will just drain you at the end of the day.
Do a specific to-do list for each day. Put it down in small small tasks so that everytime your one task gets done the dopamine hit will urge you to do more.
For example in studies, instead of saying you'll do one chapter divide it into 1)reading the chapter 2)making the notes 3)doing the Questions and anwers 4)revising the notes.

I was someone who was so high on making to-do lists and then at the end of the day I used to get exhausted by not getting it all done. So making a realistic to do lists is important.  Also when you make got-done list you'll be able to track down your progress.

2) Write down your tasks.
Yess, all I said in the first point should be written down. Because when you write it, it'll be easier to get a bird's-eye view of your day. You just can't keep making to-do lists in your mind. If you're someone who dosen't really want to bother the pen and the paper then sure you can just use the technology and make a note in your device.
Another thing you should keep in mind when you're writing a to-do list is make it visible to you. From my experience, I used to write to do list in the morning in a book and once that book was shut down I don't think I've looked at that list again! (quite funny 😂) so in order to not let that happen try to make a list which is visible in so many ways. i.e. keep visiting your to-do lists so you'll be reminded of your tasks for the day.

3)Move your body
When you exercise, your happy hormones are producing so you're more alert at this time. Once you move your body, do it in any form you like, stretching, dancing, yoga, cardio, going for a walk or run. It will boost your heart rate and you're more focused at that time. So once you're done with that, take the most important task you need to get done. By doing exercise your mood improves and it will help you focus in your work.

4)Take small breaks
Taking mini breaks is essential as I've heard (and it turned out to be true) that after certain amount of time we get tired in the work that we're doing so taking 5-10 minutes of break will help you there.
Don't use social media when you're taking breaks. You can listen to songs, meditate, small nap anything will help. And then the most important thing is to get back to your work again!

5)Good food and staying hydrated :
I've never been a person who drinks water and is hydrated but now that I know how much important it is to drink plenty of water, I'm doing quite well. Eating nutritious food and staying hydrated really boosts your energy and keeps you energetic. So make sure you drink plenty of water and eat healthy.

6)Less screen time:
Using mobile can be a quite dangerous when you want to focus on your tasks. So try to minimize your screen time. Instead of using mobile whenever you're free try to do any other Activity like going for a walk, talking to people in front of you, reading a book, writing what your thoughts are, meditating, cooking, following any of your hobby like dancing, painting, learning a new language anything that you want to do. It will make you feel like you've really got something done today. When we keep on scrolling social media we keep feeling lethargic and  it kind of drains your energy. So consuming less social media and controlling your screen time will help you stay productive throughout.

Thank you so much for reading this. I just mentioned some points that have helped me in a way and my experience. I hope it'll help you all in a way. Thank you!
